The challenge
Filling enclosed components with oil can be challenging when trapped air needs to be eliminated and complete filling is critical.
The customer needed a dedicated system that could evacuate both the oil and the connected tool before filling, providing a controlled process while reducing the risk of trapped air inside the finished product.
Our solution
Radical Technologies developed a complete vacuum oil filling system built around a simple and controlled operating sequence.
The machine uses vacuum to remove air from the oil and the connected tool before filling. Once the required vacuum is established, oil can be transferred into the tool under controlled conditions.
Several operating modes allow the same machine to handle the complete process, including oil reservoir filling, system purging, oil degassing, tool evacuation and final oil filling.
The system combines vacuum, pneumatics, fluid handling and machine controls in a compact, purpose-built solution.

The project required an understanding of both the equipment and the filling process itself. By combining mechanical design with vacuum technology, pneumatics and fluid handling, Radical Technologies developed a dedicated machine that turns a multi-step filling operation into a controlled and repeatable process.
